
Collaboration Award Nominations 2025
On July 8th, Tastebuds is hosting the regions first Collaboration Awards for the food and drink industry. The Awards will be to showcase our amazing community and collaborative spirit. Celebrating partnerships and innovation within the sector.
Nominate yourself, your team, the project students and shine a spotlight on the incredible work happening across our sector.
We welcome collaborations in all shapes and sizes - whether you've worked with a local supplier, a university research team, a group of students or another start-up, we want to hear your story.
Categories include:
Student project of the year - Awarded for outstanding creativity, innovation and execution, recognising the most exceptional student-led projects demonstrating real-life impact. E.g. graphic design, branding, market insights....
B2B collaboration of the year - Honouring a standout partnership between two or more businesses, this award celebrates exceptional teamwork that delivered measurable success and mutual value. E.g. help with distribution channels, manufacturing, packaging.
B2B new product development collaboration of the year - Recognising excellence in innovation, celebrating a ground-breaking product that demonstrates creativity, market impact and technical achievement. E.g. collaboration on new product creation
Academic to business collaboration of the year - This award celebrates a successful partnership between academia and industry that translated research into real-world commercial impact, fostering innovation and knowledge exchange. E.g. work directly with an academic such as commercial research, project building, workshops....
Innovation project of the year - Honouring a pioneering imitative that showcases original thinking, problem solving and transformative impact within its sector. E.g. projects leading to an innovation funding bid such as Agri-food Launchpads, Innovate UK....
Nominations are open until 15th June 23:59.
Please note, you do not need to be a Tastebuds member to nominate yourself or another business.
Judging will be completed by Tastebuds mentors and category sponsors, the judging criteria includes:
- Impact and outcomes
- Innovation and creativity
- Strength of partnership
- Long-term partnership
Optional: Share any supporting evidence you may have such as product photos, press coverage, testimonials, data etc. to Charlotte at c.beach@uea.ac.uk. Please note, this won't be taken into consideration in the judging process but will be used for promotional content.
